Armchair BEA Introduction

Today’s post comes from a prompt provided by Armchair BEA. Armchair BEA runs concurrently with Book Expo America (BEA) and the BEA Bloggers Conference from May 28 to June 2. Armchair BEA is composed of volunteers and created for book bloggers who are unable to attend BEA in New York but would still like to connect with other book bloggers and publishers from the comfort of their own home.

I’m a few days late because I didn’t discover this wonderful event until yesterday but I still wanted to participate. What better way to get started than with the introduction prompt? Check out the Q & A on the following page!

  1. I haven’t heard of Literary Disco, I’m definitely going to check that out!

In Cold Blood is amazing isn’t it? Great pick.

I hope you’re enjoying ABEA! Happy reading 🙂

    • Yes — it’s a great podcast. Loads of fun. I usually catch myself laughing and simultaneously adding books to my TBR list while I’m listening.

It was! I really don’t know how I got this far in life without reading it. Shame on me!

Thanks — I’m loving it. It’s been so much fun to participate in and follow. Happy reading to you as well!

    • Thank you so much for stopping by! ABEA has been a wonderful way to connect to other bibliophiles and bloggers. Reading is reading and it’s fun no matter what you’re interested in!

  2. Oh wow, finally another wrestling fan! … although it has been for me to keep up since having kids. I work in the legal field, so I have an idea of the path you’ve embarked on for your career. I wish you all the best and hope you have an amazing time at law school. As for The Walking Dead, are you missing the show as much as I am?

I haven’t heard of Literary Disco or CWAC, so I will definitely check out those sites. Armchair BEA has been so great for discovering new blogging resources. Enjoy the rest of the week!

    • Yay! Nice to meet another female wrestling fan. My favorite wrestler is CM Punk — I hear he’s slated to come back soon. It’s definitely hard to keep up with everything between Raw/Smackdown/NXT/PPVs/etc.!

Thank you so much, I’m really looking forward to law school. I left undergrad about seven years ago and I’m really excited to not only be going back to school, but headed down a new and exciting career path.

Yes! Definitely missing The Walking Dead. It’s just so darn good!

It has been — unfortunately I wasn’t able to keep up with the other posts in a timely manner but they’ll be good prompts for the future, regardless. My favorite part has been connecting with other book lovers and bloggers. So much fun!

      Thank you for stopping by!
